"FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER" is an extract from a quote of a very known book, our favourite book, Dune, by Frank Herbert. It just happens that the movie will be showcased this week. We are super excited about this. It will be, we hope, Epic.
We at Surfbox Cornwall believe that if you are able to face your fears you can overcome your limitations and can achieve anything.
We have teamed up with Solomon and Marcus for a photoshoot to showcase some of the new apparel that is coming to Surfbox Cornwall.
It was great to get to know them and to learn about a project that they hold close to their hearts.
Solomon and Marcus are originally from Ghana. They told us about Roots Rebel SK8 Park. A community project helping the youth of Ghana to skate their dreams.
Their energy, passion and positive vibes was very much reflected when they start talking about it. They basically built a skate park in Ghana with the help of very kind donations and fund raising campaigns so that they could give an opportunity to boys and girls to learn how to skate.
They have created a small community of skaters of all learning abilities that is growing every day.
It goes to show that if you put your mind and energy into something that you feel passionate about then great things can be achieved.
